We see fulfillment of Jesus's prophecies daily, and HE warned us all to be ready and watch. Let's pray that we may be accounted worthy to escape, (The Rapture), all these things that will come to pass, (The Tribulation), and to stand before The Son of Man. What will you do if HE comes and you are left behind? No amount of praying will get you out of the Tribulation then. You could still be saved but you will do so at incredible hardship, which could have been avoided. This is not the same kind of hardship anyone faces today, and there are those suffering torture and death with excessive pain now. If Jesus says that that suffering will be like none ever before, then it is beyond description. True, to be saved then will still get you to Heaven, but how much better to obey God in an acceptable time rather than in horror. Those who still aren't saved in that time, will receive even yet worse suffering which there are no words to describe, as well as the Lake of Fire for Eternity. These warnings have been given from ages past and are known today even if only in slight detail. All the world really knows some of it, as most could tell of Moses plagues in Egypt, or David's victory over Goliath, or Noah and the flood. Those are sufficient to show you Who GOD is, so please take heed. Just call on JESUS right now and ask HIM to save you and HE will! That is HIS Promise, and HE cannot lie. It's just that easy! Then, go live a life holy for HIM!!! Amen.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP

I've been watching Laura (Bush! heehee as if you didn't know!) trot around the globe lately with the help of mary (she likes the small "m" and its her doing not mine, so it's her being humble and not me making her so, especially in consideration of my topic, uh hmm). Laura is trying to raise Women's Issues up to the Arabic (male) Mindset and bring a modicum of relief for the downtrodden wonderful feminine human in the Middle East, of which my good friend Roya is one! Now, I am a Sound Fundamentalist Christian who also has a good open mind and can hold subjects in Moratorium with the best of them, and so I know full well that the Bible is adamantly specific, hey, GOD, is being specific that the Man is the head of the Woman and there is no if's and's but's or maybe's about this. You might now think that this settle's the issue, but then one does know GOD oh so little. HE makes a thing so, so that HE can by contrast, bring the opposite to pass! (Plunge us all in deep sin, so as to save us all, being only one example!). Oh my! Only GOD could do this. Doesn't the Bible say somewhere that "7 women will surround a man someday saying just marry us, we have money enough just please marry us"? thereby taking title from the man? Isn't it after all Eve, ahh, Mary (capitalised!) who brought the Saviour into the world and thereby brought deliverance of this entire world system, of which "Man is head of Woman" is one, and so that the Bible also says "IN CHRIST, there is no male or female"? (I won't do your homework for you this time and will make you look for the references themselves! A good concordance is easy enough to buy! But I'll only do this to you once, just so that you learn to appreciate that I do this).

In my home life growing up, my father was the weak one and my mother the strong one and the definite and hands-down leader of the home. So, its not hard for me to see the headship of women. But, I also saw in my mother a weakness, --- say, a "sort of slipped-disk-mentality" to her at times. Almost like she never wanted the post and only took it because someone had to and her love for her children over ruled her reluctance to take the job. But, she'd so much rather and gladly have given it back to my father! He never took it. But this subject has played out in my mind over the years, (I'm 54 now), and I have come to somewhat of a conclusion tho like I said earlier, I can still Moratoriumize. The thought came to me one day, and I realize that it has to be the title of the future book I will write on this subject, "BARBED WIRE AND FENCEPOSTS". Women are half of the man that GOD took out of Adam symbolized by a rib. When GOD says they become "ONE" it is not because 1+1=1? but rather 1/2 + 1/2 = 1! Ahhh! Much better! My Math always did me in good stead! Neither is whole without the other. Man, tho the supposed head, is only half, trying to rule another half, and you could imagine what it would be like for a body part like maybe a Hand saying I Rule the whole deal? Even the Brain that does rule the whole show can't say it, because the hand or foot or eye can say "Forget it" and disobey. It needs obedience and or compliance.

My point being, in this life yes, Man has been given headship for whatever reason, maybe because Eve ate an apple first, but, this was never GOD's intention, and once we had plunged ourselves into this mess, HE had to protect the woman by giving her a loving man to take care of her in her weak state, rather than leave her out in the jungle defenseless? A woman is better off to be sure with a good man leading her! But, women lack a certain something. The dynamic skill of being boss without an edge. Sorry, that's the best I can define it if you don't like it. But, when a woman has such great ideas, she is still not grounded. She can't bring her project to successful fulfillment alone. But, like a barbed wire, she is loose and floats around and the cattle all get out and all the wealth of the farm is lost. But, as soon as she finds her Mate! Voila!! She is tacked onto his Fencepost and the fence is built and all is well! Or not? What if this man is like my father, who reneged on his part? If the fence post isn't stuck deep into the ground, well then that fence is still useless and all is lost. No, only when both are doing their parts together is there such a thing as being "One" and a working solution!

SIMPLICITY!

St Paul mentioned that we should not lose our 'simplicity' which was in Christ! 2Cor 11.3. I would seek to encourage the Brethren this morning of this also. What is it that is so Simple then of which you speak Ray? JESUS said: "By this shall ALL men know that you are my disciples by the Love (Agape) you have towards one another". John 13.35. Before you jump up and say "Oh yeah I know that already and do it?" please examine (2Cor 13.5) yourself a minute to see if in fact this Love be there? Let's have a quick look at the characteristics of simple Love! This love goes the extra mile in that when a brother is suffering and is mentally distraught, and for you to go comfort him would take you down to his level and others would class you as a lowly brother as well, then you rush up to him with open arms and love him! This love Sacrifices and cares nothing for itself. (1Cor ch 13). It is not considering how it can get this task over with so it can head out to the golf course with his buds. It is willing to set aside the entire day if indeed that brother needs it to get righted. And if he needs the next night and the next day as well, he will arrange either with his wife or other friends to take care of this brother. (It doesn't mind getting dirty? Look at the Shulamite Maiden in Song of Songs 5.3. She was all cleaned up and ready for a night in bed, but Solomon asked of her to come out and win souls and she said: "I have put off my coat? How shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; How shall I defile them?" Oh my, Don't you see JESUS in Heaven perfect throughout all Eternity and yet HE stooped from there to get as dirty as possible by going to earth to hang on a Cross for you, and can't you get a little dirty for your Brother or a Lost Soul?). Look at the Good Samaritan story? The victim didn't even ask for help. The Samaritan made all the plans and arrangements and expenses. Including Future expenses! IN other words he put down a deposit for the victim. He would not let go until he saw that man on his feet able to defend himself again! Oh now that is love, sacrificial love, Simple Love, but oh how costly! This which I have described is for a Brother. But you know, what if that had been a non_believer?? Would it move you yet more to know that his soul already resided in hell, and that he needed to be rescued? Would you put forth the same amount of love, expense and energy to save this soul? Recall how JESUS said when given a formula for recovering a wayward Christian: "... but you will have gained a Brother!" Gaining that Brother was the highest prize JESUS saw in life! Sheesh, the garbage love I see thrown out there today I am ashamed to say that even non-Christians do better. Please Brethren? Take time to make sure your heart is full of Agape and not Self. I want to make one notable comment to close. In places where there is severe persecution of the Church, as in China and other parts of Asia, and some places in Africa and South America, the persecution drives away the fence dwellers and only the true blue Christians stand up to be counted. And, when it comes to love, each would lay down his/her life for the other. I hear it said that we'd do that, but never being tested we dont know for sure. I pray for continued Peace and Prosperity for North America, but I worry each spring and make a desperate appeal for The LORD to give us yet one more good crop, cause I feel judgement must fall soon. If it were only the Un-Believers who were coldhearted and brazen, fine, but when it is the Beloved who is cold and arrogant and unloving to his Brothers and Sisters, then I feel little hope for GOD to Bless. Nevertheless, from my words come "The Blessing of JEHOVAH it makes rich and HE adds no sorrow with it!" Prov 10:22. May 2005 be yet another prosperous year with a bumper crop in Fall!

CHANGES!

You will notice that I placed an exclamation Mark right after the Title Word. Yes, it has a specific reason for being there. But what I want to chat about is this New Years Resolutions thingy and then give a checkup near this now halfway point. Does anyone else do this? I figure that if I give it a gander now, I still can have time to make some changes if I had not done some up until now. Anyway, I felt that there had to be changes for me because last year was not as good as I would like it, and I have a new perspective on life recently, that being that I have entered the elderly category! It's funny how the youth mindset had always been there and even when the 40's kicked in I never really got scared that life was ending, just that it might have slowed a bit. But the 50's, ah yes, they did a number on me! I still can't articulate myself well enough to put down on paper in sequence what I mean, but this will come. But I do now look back and there is no longer that excitement to find a new career, the look for a girl to build a family, move to a new city and start a new life. These and many more had always tended to make me think myself youthful. I can no longer run as fast as I once did. Shocking for me. But you know, after a few months of being depressed about it all, I started to look on the positives, and funny enough, there are positives! I am closer to Heaven than ever before! I can slow down some and it's almost expected. I have millions of memories to reminisce about. I meet people often from my past life and catch up! I have acquired many skills, and not just those that I worked with, but many hobbies and music which now entertain me still, and even fill my down time as a retiree! In fact, I am even expanding these! I bought a camera and am taking up photography and I have the time for it. I have got the internet which is so recent a thing that it's almost new to everyone else. I meet tons of people from around the world, and oh the info I can find?! No, this getting older definitely has positives, and I choose to focus on those positives because I have found that even though there are distractions and miseries we all encounter, it is only when we attach our minds to these and mull them over all day that we have a bad time of things. If I purposely focus on the good! Oh my, what a difference! So, Being Old is not so much a state of being, as it is a state of mind. Enjoy your days, and know that The LORD is waiting to welcome you home forever! Oh Praise to HIS Holy Name!!! Amen!

FRIENDS!!

I've seen the show "FRIENDS" a couple of times, but having been raised on M*A*S*H and Cheers, I never could get into this show much. I guess Joey has his spinoff and it's been a success as the original, but still its not my cup of tea. However, the real thing, now that's a different matter! We all need friends, and the more the merrier. That is an established fact apparently, and such that the one who has the most friends, is the happiest and the most solid. Those friends "ground" you and establish your mental well-being. In fact, you are actually known by your friends. You thought your Mother was just fooling ya didn't ya?! Hahaha, but no she had it down pat! The better the friends the better your character. This subject just keeps bearing out and so if you have any motivation to better yourself, get yourself some more, or new friends. Right the ones that have been wronged if you have some of them, and forgive those who have done you in. It will be better than money in your pocket. Of course, there is a time to dust one, but make that as seldom an occasion as possible. If you just stop right now, and take the extreme positions: 1. Many Friends and 2. No Friends, you can even now see how solid this point I'm making is. Without a friend you would have a very difficult go of it and be one of the saddest people on earth. Loneliness is perhaps the worst curse a person can know, and companionship is what life is truly all about.
Now, back to my Mother. Well, she had just the hardest time of it being alone without my Dad and so I, living the floor above her, became her constant companion almost 24/7. I believe she has the beginnings of Alzheimers, or some other form of dementia, and she became very mean. She first of all decided to quit all of her friends like my Dad did in the Home, and count on us children to be her Buddies. I am guessing but think that the reason they both did that was to make it obvious to each of us kids that they needed us and that therein we would feel the obligation to take care of them for a large part of the day. What it did do, is frustrate us all and incense us that they made us all feel the guilt and burden to take care of them excessively. None of us would begrudge proper attention to them, but the way they went about it was unnecessary and deceitful. I especially felt abused because I was the closest and thus the most obligated. Also, Mother took her mean streak and brought me down to size so many times and I lost much self respect and esteem. I have to allow for the fact that she didn't know what she was doing, and so have noone to even tell my troubles to and feel like I have a story to be heard. I can't claim abuse when it is unpurposive.
What I have learned this winter about dementia is something I hope to avoid at all costs whenever I can. I look at the friends that I do have now and I value them in a way I did not before! Plus, seeing the way my parents went about their life at reducing their friends makes me learn what "not" to do. Take the money and throw it to the wind rather than lose one friend I say! Envision yourself on the moon with 10 $Billion Dollars all your own! and yet all by yourself! Now, what good does it do you? It puts into perspective so very fast how valuable friends truly are, and it shows that there are categories where things have no comparison. You simply cannot equate a friend to any amount of money. How much money does it take to buy someone? There is obviously no price. So, when fights happen, and they surely will, put the brakes on when it's getting so bad that the friendship is at a breaking point. Don't lose what cannot be regained. I will bear with my Mother because of the unusual circumstances and maintain my filial duty, but my eyes have been opened to a viewpoint that I have never had previous. To all of you who will call yourself my Friend, or call me your Friend?!!!! I Cherish you and your friendship more than you will know! Peace, and let's get together soon!

You know, being pensioned off on a small sum, and being partially disabled and not having much opportunity to "get out and about", I get pretty down on myself. Especially when I look from the standpoint of eternity, and I will have to look back on my life here and see all the inactivity of my years towards the last. That is not due to a lack of effort or of passionate desire, but nonetheless what can be done? Still, I do do whatever comes to my table. But lately I have been receiving feedback and they have been telling me how great my consolations for them have been. One lady said that before she met me, she was so ignored and mistreated and that she didn't even realize how badly until I came and showed her the Love of GOD! Another was lost without any idea of her personality dysfunction or how to conduct herself properly, as well as how to value herself in the Eyes of GOD. These and other comments have shown me that in fact I do have a ministry. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that I was as low as I am, I would never have met these beautiful people and therefore never have aided them. Now that would have been a tragedy. So, I have been shown that I must get my eyes off of myself and just keep doing whatever comes to hand. Just that I am used of GOD and know that it is known to HIM is all the validation I need! I just get back up on my feet, l dust myself off and keep going. GOD Bless those people for they too have helped me as have many others. May those others receive their rewards and recognition as well! And above all, Praise To The LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! Even so, come quickly LORD JESUS!!!

Dying To Self

I am concentrating on the aspect of Sanctification in the Christians life and in mine particulary lately. Maybe you can input your thoughts on this subject. Obviously we start out as Born-Again Believers and this act is begun by the HOLY SPIRIT giving us new life! We have our names written in Heaven and have Eternal Life! But we are only Babes, just as the "Born-Again" suggests. Henceforth we have to grow in this new life. The food is The Word of GOD and it is watered by Prayer. So far so good. But then why is it that so many Christians never really grow very far in their faith? Those who seldom read the Bible or Pray we can understand. But their are many who"do" read the Bible a lot and Pray and yet still stay very childish in the Faith. Now I'm not looking at others only when I say this cause I am concentrating on myself growing deeper. I want to be "Saved to the Uttermost" as it says that JESUS can do for us! There is a "Finished"-ness that can come to a fully matured Christian. Eph 4.13-15 talks about this from The Whole Church perspective, but this can also be indicative of the individual as well. But there is a better Passage in Scripture I think that defines the process more clearly. It is 2Cor 4:7-10. In particular, verse 10. "Always bearing about in our body the dying of the LORD JESUS that the Life of JESUS may also be in our bodies!" How do we effect this dying then? It suggests here that it is a Moment by Moment contest, and the rivals as we know from Galatians, are the Flesh and the Spirit. To crucify or put to death something in us at any particular moment is to refuse our "will" or "desire". Die to self. Now people think they have such a good hold on this dying to self, as in "No" I cant have that ice cream right now, or I wont buy myself that sweater. But how about when in a crowd and a person of lesser stature contradicts you? Or how about when someone you know has hurt you, and later on you get a chance to put them in bad light or hurt them back? (Revenge may well be the hardest to die to of all our passions and lusts.) Or how about even when GOD has locked you up like Job in the Bible, and you look like the most pathetic Christian ever and people come and criticise you even worse and put you lower than you thought possible? Will you even strike out at GOD? Remember, that "self" --- that self that I have just described, that is in you and me, is the thing that keeps us from knowing GOD and keeps us from Growing in GOD. Christian Maturity is gained by who can die more to his self. Phil 3.10 states, "That I may know HIM and the power of HIS Resurrection and the fellowship of HIS Sufferings being made conformable to HIS Death". "HIS Death?" What is HIS Death? "Dying to Self!" Yes, JESUS Had a Self! HE died to it every second of HIS life, but it is that dying that you and I are to die to as well! Oh it is a dark night. Oh consider Job more closely and see how he looked so well in the Spiritual eyes of all before his trial, and then put yourself in his life during the sickness and the criticism of his friends. Could we take that? You will never really know JESUS unless you and I die to that self. It wants to live with a force that is unimaginable in power. (Suicide is the ultimate SELF-"Love", not hate). Those who have crossed it out, are few and rare individuals. But though they may look like such losers in the worlds eyes! They are the true lights shining on this earth! And if they don't have much respect or acknowledgment from the Church, they have such Peace with JESUS and they wouldn't trade it for the other! And, they get that which Peter spoke of "For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST!!!

YOU MEAN THERE REALLY IS A HEAVEN?!!

All of us have our days when they are so-so or even boring or ho-hum. In fact I'd guess that the majority of mankind's days on earth are fairly average and unexciting. Few are the days where we are excited like perhaps a Birthday! or Christmas! or Mothers/Fathers Days! The first day of Summer Holidays for students or our 3 weeks vacation from work are exceptional days! But most days are filled with the run-of-the-mill ordinary exercises. But still we go about our days with mankind as a whole, and dream of a Utopia! Is there such a place? For those of you who have been a generous sort, and have given of your hard earned money for relief for victims of tragedies, or just for the benefit of needy children. Those of you who have given the benefit of the doubt to the other one. Those of you who have paid the pizza bill and have had to give the extra buck, or who have had to drive the loser home from the party. Those of you who had to clean up someone else's mess, or have taken the blame for someone when you know it wasn't you, and who have given a helping hand to a stranger or neighbor asking for a cup of sugar. Who have given your shoulder for someone to cry on, and reached out instead of even making the needy ask. These and so much more seem like they are tossed to the wind and will never be noticed. But I say: it has been written somewhere that: "cast your bread upon the waters and after many days it will return unto you". Yes, there is a Heaven! For those who have lived with an eye on their neighbor, there is a Heaven and in Old Age noone will be able to deny you that outlook that gets brighter and brighter with each passing day!!

Mean Business With GOD, and HE Will Mean Business With You!

I gave my life to The LORD on April 2/93, the day after April Fool's Day. I look back on it as leaving the fool behind! And, chuckle aside, that's just what it was. But there's more to a fool than just a change of plans. One other major part of a fool is his cigarette. That took me another more than 10 more years to drop, but finally, drop it I did! That is perhaps my greatest victory on earth! I can say that I quit smoking and it is now almost 14months, 1 Year and 2 Months behind me! Back in 1976 I did much the same thing and I recall how I told myself that if I meant business with GOD, HE would mean business with me, and start working things out for me. Well, the next 12 months, the next year, was hands down the best year of my life! I am waiting on GOD for more to come, but you know what?! HE has already given me the best! HE is now with me as my Best Friend! I know HIS Peace and Presence and there is nothing I need besides!

Now that the New Year is well under way, we can forget about all those resolutions and all the festivities for another year and look forward to that great bright spot --- Spring! When it is -52 outside and you know that there will be at least 2 more months of this, it is a little bit hard to think about golfing in shorts and t-shirt, but one must, ya know. Don't you find that if you let your mind wander about all the morbid facts drifiting about that it just acts like a breeding ground and it gets worse instead of better? Just like some ppl, (bless their hearts!), who seem to always have to criticise, you start to feel drab and down yourself? So take all those bright spots out there and dwell upon those warm days with great shots to the green and the birds singing! And by the way, about those resolutions? If you made them, keep them! That's being positive and you need all you can get! I was just testing you!

NEW YEAR! 2005

New beginnings! Yes, we should be thankful for those, cause we make such a mess of things and the only way to get right is to start over. Let's thank our Heavenly FATHER that HE is so generous to us in not giving us one new beginning, but each day we start over, each week, each month, year, decade, century, Millenia! I am one of those who at least is always learning and I never get set in my ways, so it's so helpful to have another new chance. At 53 I am just starting to think that I have learned enough now to get on with life! And with some, they would think it's too late, but if I were to live to be 100 I still have almost half to live yet, and at the projected life-span for us baby-boomers being set at 120 --- well I am a new born baby! Great! This year I want to make my first big publication; not necessarily my first book, though that would be enormous! But an article in a daily newspaper or monthly magazine. A paper one, not e. I want to hold it in my hands! That will be the start of my resume and a writer really gets nowhere unless he/she has a substantial resume. But my all-time goal is still set at my first bestseller by 2010. That's 5 years and plenty of time to craft my best work! I am glad whoever you are that you're along for the ride and whatever your dream for 2005 is, my wish for you is: Success!

This has been one crazy doozy of a month! I have met three of the most interesting people, who were all the same person it turns out, and what he/she was intending I have no idea. Anyway, I had some enormous problems here at home let alone trying to deal with that, but with GOD's Blessing I made it! I have some good friends out West! I had a major change in routine when I started to go to bed early and join the group for coffee at 8am at the A&W! I am so into that now that I can't stop it, but will have to when I get writing my book full swing cuz I write best after midnight. Still, I may try to make coffee once or twice a week just to keep up. Plus I may now be moving come Spring and into a bigger complex and not so many stairs. I have 6 flights of stairs to climb to get at my suite. My house is on a hill and so it takes 2 full flights just to get to the front door of the house! Then I live on the top floor of this 3 story building and you get the picture! All is well otherwise so check in later and there may be some CHRISTmas news to pass on. Oh, speaking of which, my niece-in-law Karen is expecting any time and is 2 weeks overdue already and so I should have another grand-nephew-niece any day! I've got 5 already! Bless them all.

This is a EuroBlog and it apparently is the underground news which might not else be aired but thru blogs like this one! This is one of the most popular blogs in the EU. I see now why the traditional politicians hate these things because they totally don't obey them and can undermine their plots single-handedly and are virtually uncontrollable. Cuz even if they knocked this one out, there are another million left. And if they shut the internet down, well then how much trade is lost which is the whole idea behind politics despite their nay-saying! I would definitely like to make my blog like this, but I'd have to pay for a site.

An Episode In One Night

You know this internet causes the most unusual of hit and miss of relationships?! Whether sad or good is for each one to determine, but people can be very fickle, and yet people can be, and make, stalwart friends. I would have to say for the most part we are all just strangers in the night, but every once in awhile one stops which is beautiful or more coveted than most! Amy was such a one for me! Only 2 years but those were special and I can wish her all the best in the future even as I shed a tear. It is then that the soul longs for permanence.

My Hero Charles Dicken's would walk 15 miles in a night and through the roughest neighborhoods of London and never once was accosted by gangs or the like. He was so prolific a walker that he was affectionately known as the "Pedestrian Dicken's!" I like that! He never ever thought of himself above his lowly counterpart struggling for a living. He walked these areas of town to get first-hand knowledge and views of what life was like here so that he was realistic when he wrote of their surroundings. They loved him for it. The poorest couldn't read or write. One in twenty might be able to and they were honored ones. You would see a group of twenty poor people standing around one man reading the latest edition of a Dicken's story in the magazine and they would listen as close as if this were a life or death message. I took a walk this afternoon but not through the roughest area of town. I walked dead into the worst coldest wind and felt it bite into my cheeks. I knew that after I had arrived at my destination, I would have the benefit of the wind at my back on the walk home! I wouldn't even accept a ride home if it were offered to me for the sheer delight of having suffered the worst the wind had to offer and then enjoy the blessing it afforded me home! What did I think about? I asked myself: "Can two people fall in love on the internet? "I heard someone say "We're about to find out" and closed my eyes.

OK! I finally figured out how to upload my pix to this blog of mine! Now I can share my creations with the rest of you who are photographers, and we can compete for best creations, and even put up prizes if we choose! There are some Photography Rings too and I'll see if I can get myself joined to one of them, and then you's all can just add yourself to my ring once I'm up and running, and then we can work with photographers all over the world! I've seen some of those sites and it is amazing and entertaining to view all those great works of Art! I don't like to show my pix now because I am starting to lose my hair and it's receding a bit and it bothers me, bothers me, and I find myself repeating myself find repeating repeating Who? Heehee!

Confidence and Independence

Yes, I'm delving into the 'heavies' tonight. What struck me is that to be Confident you need not be Independent but to be Independent you must be Confident. At one time I thought they were mutually dependent on each other much like ketchup and eggs. But I have seen many people, men and women, who were Confident and yet were dependent at least to some degree upon one or more significant others. To go it alone says that either you are a confident person or a retard. But where does confidence come from if once you are an unconfident person? I guess at first we'd have to look at talents cause obviously the more proficient skills we have the more we'd be in demand and the more I'd have confidence in myself. So get skills. Also, I guess you'd have to be a risk-taker and I'll tell you what I mean by that. If you're lacking confidence, you'd have to go out on a limb say on some project or other. You'd assess your needs in order to get the job done and then go out guns blazing. Now you are not confident at this stage remember, so you are doubting and worrying all along getting it done. But, should you see the finish line! Well, run and finish the job well and get yourself a "Capital C" from Vanna and consider yourself a Confident person! Success after all breeds confident, and if there is one thing we all know how to do it is Breed!

Hey All! This week we are hearing about the good old Vitamin E, that dastardly ugly tasting thing that kids know as Cod Liver Oil! Hahahaha! Funny how Mom's force that down kids throats when they themselves were kids and hated it? Such Hypocrisy?! Now we are hearing that those who think they will live longer because of taking Vit E are actually going to die sooner. Oooops?! What do you all think? Should mothers across North America drop those horrible Cod Liver Oil pills from their kids diets or no?

Work? or Love?

You know, sometimes I think I think to much! Anyhow, I'm trying to take proper consideration of my potential in life. We all have to pull our weight through this life, and noone get's off scot-free and neither should he/she. But we sometimes have to prioritize ourselves and things in our life. Such is what I'm considering right now. Everyone who knows me knows I love to write and hope to Publish the best seller of the year! But other things crowd in upon the time I'd like to invest in that pursuit. Some things that do the crowding are very tempting and have a power to take me away from my literary pursuits more than others! I love my Ladies and hope they love me, but you know, there will probably come a day when I'll have to say "This is the ONE!" Now this automatically means exclusion for all the rest, and so be it. But I am wondering, for reasons other than sex (considering the puritan view), should marriage be inevitable? or can one enjoy a single life throughout his/her life with no guilts? Does one "have" to marry in order to feel fulfilled? Hmm!

Here I am again burning the midnight oil trying to get my work done! Actually I just love working writing at this time of night. It's so peaceful and everyone in the whole city is asleep and I feel like a Shepherd watching over them all to make sure no lion or bear comes along and ... well, you know! My article for the Magazine is coming along ok, but too slow. My material is good but I have to work faster than this, but having an editor now watching over me and demanding this change here, or that change there, here a change there a change, everywhere a change change! This is a new experience to me and one I have never ever been faced with before. She is a great Editor though and is truly helping me a lot. Writing is one thing which I feel I'm quite good at or I wouldn't be in it, but she makes me do it her way, and I have little choice in the matter. Get used to the world of Freelance Journalism! But some serious coin can be made at this and when I get good enough at it, I could virtually write my own ticket! So, for all these late nights burning oil, it will pay off big time! Nighty Night! Hey Guys! All my faithful listeners, yes I'm still around, and yes, I do more than just add new links to this site! I do my reading/writing more than anything, but my medications also aid me in doing a lot of thinking. I am not sure if that's a sideeffect or what(?) but that is how it plays out for me. And man do I think! If you could follow my deepest threads of thoughts you'd wonder how you got from here to there, but you'd also think you were on a magic carpet ride. No that doesn't have anything to do with Arabs and the Iraq war just cuz I mentioned the carpet ride but it was a spiritual thot I gave you which shows where my thots really do originate from and thereby I can open myself up and work out a subject that otherwise only roams around inside me with out ever having it play out in my life, or, in the sense that its a bad item of thot, getting rid of it. Heehee. So, you see how things are with me and that I will be in and out and trying to develop myself as a writer and use all the skills I have to attain authorship. Later!
